4.Place the piece of tape with the floral wire on
top of a H” ×1” silver rectangle.5.Place the piece of tape with the floral wire
and the silver rectangle pieces onto a hard,
flat surface with the silver on the bottom.
This will help keep the floral wire and silver
rectangle piece in place while you are ham-
mering them.1.Use the ruler to measure and mark four
H” × 1” rectangles on the 18-gauge sheet
silver. Using a jeweler’s saw or tin snips, cut
the rectangles from the sheet silver. Set these
aside.
2.Use the ruler to measure and mark the floral
wire to 1H” pieces. With the tin snips, cut
the floral wire into 16 pieces approximately
1 H” long.
3.Cut a piece of masking tape approximately
2” long and place four of the 1H”-long
pieces of floral wire onto the sticky side of
the tape. Using tweezers will help with place-
ment of the floral wire parallel onto to the
sticky side of the tape
