Picture Yourself Making Jewelry and Beading

(Wang) #1

  1. Open one jump ring and slide it through the
end loop of the additional 9” chain and then
through a link of the necklace. Close the
jump ring. Repeat on the other side with
    the second jump ring.

The necklace pictured is made primarily from
LAURA-WORLD™handmade glass beads.

This necklace is an excellent way to use beads that
are left from your other projects. Use any color or
bead combination that appeals to you. You can
also use charms alternately with your beads to
create a different look.

Check with your local art
center to see if classes in bead
making are offered. Many local
bead shops offer classes on bead
making. Strike up a conversation with
a bead artist at a local art fair; some-
times you can get them to give private
instruction. Finally, there are bead
societies and clubs throughout the
country that offer lots of information
on where to get started making beads.
