2.Use the ruler to measure each wire and mark
it at 1I”. This is where you will make the
loops to attach the ear wire to each earring.
By measuring and marking both wires in the
same place in this manner, you will be able
to keep the loop placement alike on both of
the earrings.

3.Working with one wire at a time, grasp the
wire in the jaws of the round nose pliers
where you have measured and marked the
wire. Hold the wire approximately J” from
the tip of the pliers. The closer you hold the
wire to the end of the jaws of the pliers,
the smaller the loop will be. The further up
in the jaws of the pliers you hold the wire,
the larger the loop will be.

4.Hold the wire firmly in the jaws of the round
nose pliers and use your fingers to bend
the wire down to form an upside-down U.
It will resemble the shape at the top of a
bobby pin.

5.Continue to firmly hold the wire in the jaws
of the round nose pliers and use your fingers
to bend the wire around the pliers until the
wire ends are both pointing up. This will
form the loop where you will attach the
ear wires.
