Picture Yourself Making Jewelry and Beading

9.Slide the head pin through the holes in the
C-shaped rectangle wire to make sure that
the holes are vertically aligned and that the
head pin slides through both holes easily.
Perform these steps for both C-shaped
rectangle wires.

10.After testing that the head pins slide easily
through the holes in the C-shaped rectangle
wire, remove the head pins and set the “C”
shapes aside. Add two seed beads to the
bottom of the head pin.

11.Slide the head pin with the two seed
beads on it through the bottom hole of the
C-shaped rectangle wire.

12.Slide seed beads onto the head pin above
the bottom hole of the C-shaped rectangle
wire. (I used 11 seed beads, but you can
adjust the amount of beads that you use.
You may need to use more or less beads
depending on the size of the beads used
and the distance between the holes on the
C-shaped rectangle wire.)

13.Slide the head pin through the top hole of
the C-shaped rectangle wire.

14.Add seed beads to the head pin above the
top hole of the C-shaped rectangle wire.
I used six seed beads, but, again, you can
adjust the amount of beads you use. Just
make sure to leave at least^5 ⁄ 16 ” of head
pin wire above the top seed bead to allow
enough wire to make the loop closure.
