THE JOHNNY APPLE CHEESE SANDWICH


(Number of Powerfoods: 3)


2 SLICES 7-GRAIN BREAD
2 TEASPOONS LIGHT MAYONNAISE
1 TEASPOON DIJON MUSTARD
2 SLICES SWISS CHEESE
1 RED DELICIOUS APPLE, HALVED, CORED, AND THINLY SLICED
1 TABLESPOON CHOPPED WALNUTS

1. Preheat a toaster oven to 350°F.


2. Spread 1 bread slice with mayonnaise and the other with mustard. Top each with cheese.


3. Place on a tray and put into the toaster oven until the cheese has melted. Top 1 slice with the apple


slices and sprinkle with the walnuts. Press the sandwich halves together.


Makes 1 serving.
