Personal Notes
Today I attended the journalizing class at the Rice Diet Program. I frankly wasn’t
expecting much from the experience but was amazed at what came up for me.
When I asked myself where the last fi fty pounds had come from... I didn’t
know that I had the answer until I started writing about the safety my excess
weight was providing me, increasingly, since my assault. I was shocked that there
was any connection between the two! My New Year’s resolution is to journalize
daily!! P.S. That fruit sorbet was no-fat, but those 240 calories were sure not as
nutritious, satisfying, or fi lling as 4 cups of cold watermelon would have been.
