¾ teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon baking powder
1. Cut the chicken breasts into strips.
2. Preheat the oil in a skillet or deep fryer to 350°F.
3. In a small bowl, beat the egg and milk.
4. In another bowl, combine the flour and spices.
5. Dip the chicken strips 1 at a time into the egg mixture.
6. Then dip in the flour coating.
7. Fry a few strips at a time until they are golden brown. Cook for about 5 minutes or until the
strips float.
8. Drain on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.

You may use the recipe for KFC crispy strips in this book or buy chicken strips from your local
supermarket deli to prepare this dish.
INGREDIENTS | SERVES 1
1 large flour tortilla
KFC Pepper Mayonnaise Sauce (see below)
2 cooked breaded chicken breast strips
A small amount of thinly sliced lettuce
2 slices of tomato, diced
1. Microwave the tortilla for 30–45 minutes to soften and make it easier to fold.
2. Cover the tortilla with the mayonnaise sauce.
3. Lay the chicken tenders end-to-end lengthwise on top of the tortilla.
4. Add lettuce, tomato, and more of the mayonnaise sauce on top of the chicken.
