2 tablespoons blackening seasoning
Cayenne pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 pound of medium-size peeled shrimp
½ teaspoon each salt and pepper
8 tablespoons butter
½ cup thin-sliced green onion
½ cup heavy cream
3 cups cooked linguine or spaghetti
4 tablespoons diced tomatoes


1. Place broth, clam juice, garlic, blackening seasoning, cayenne, and thyme in a bowl and
mix well.
2. Cover the bowl with a lid and refrigerate until needed.
3. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper.
4. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the shrimp and onions and cook for 2–3
minutes until they begin to turn opaque.
5. Add the broth mixture and cream to the skillet. Bring the sauce to a boil and reduce heat.
6. Add the pasta to the sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat the pasta.
7. Garnish with diced tomatoes.
