The first of these two long lines is quite unambigu-
ously divided into two unequal parts : rhythmic-
ally it is 3 : 2; but the second can only be forced
into the same scheme by giving to the preposition
a full stress. If, however, we find other examples
of periods in kinahs that cannot be anything but
2 : 2, we shall certainly do better so to regard the
second period here and to give htmdx-lf but one


word-accent.
