Feedback from Master Trainers
The ON-NET sponsored workshop was
conducted by the project development team
for these Master Trainers from April 22, 2004
to May 7, 2004 at the ON-NET Regional Center
at Ratchasuda College, Mahidol University,
Thailand. In addition to learning about the
materials the trainees were also asked to
provide feedback on all modules of the
learning package. Peer tutoring, self-learning
and group discussions were featured during the workshop and the responses of the trainees
are summarized below:
- The method of teaching Nemeth Braille codes infused in them a sense of discovery
and as a result, they were able to learn the codes by applying logic and certain rules
and not by memorization. - The self-instructional procedures prescribed for learning abacus were easy to follow
but learning of abacus skills itself required more time.
