The adjectives are invariable for gender but have plurals in -es. The adverbs
are invariable:
Mi bicicleta es mejor que My bike is better than yours.
la tuya.
Estos niños son menores These children are younger
que los míos. than mine.
Cantan mejor que yo. They sing better than me.
The regular forms más bueno/más bien, and más malo/más malare usually
replaced in comparative constructions by mejorand peor.

1 Más bien is found with the meaning of ‘rather’: Su mirada era más bien triste
‘She had a rather sad look’.
2 Más bueno/maloare found with reference to moral qualities: ser más bueno que
el pan ‘to be very good’.

Más grande and más pequeño are used above all to indicate physical size:
Mi casa es más grande/pequeña que la tuya.
My house is bigger/smaller than yours.
Mayorand menor are used to refer to age:
Pedro es mayor/menor que Pedro is older/younger than
