Continue to layer color over the reflections in the water. Block in the remaining reflections by

mirroring the dark trees. Again, add a light layer of pastel in vertical blocks of color.

Add pale green highlights to the reeds in the central area of the painting by placing a light layer of

pastel over the dark green reeds.
