Add fine highlights of pale yellow to indicate ripples in the water. With a mid-green pastel pencil,

create small grasses. Highlight the pale green reeds below the trees and indicate a few lily pads.

Create more ripples in the water around the bottom half of the painting. Using a mid-gray pencil,

add some highlights to the large tree on the left, the bark, and some of the branches.
