Blend the background colors from

left to right. Add more depth,

and continue blending using a

circular motion to make the cloud

formations appear more realistic.

Leave some of the background

showing through to help the

overall look of the painting.

Continue to add colors, particularly dark blues and purples. Add lighter shades, and continue

to blend with your fingers. Finally, create the outside edges of the clouds using the sharp

edge of a white pastel stick.
