recorded voice. her research interests include artistic research, performance as

Michael Biggs is professor of aesthetics and former associate dean Research at the
university of hertfordshire, uK and Visiting professor in arts-based Research in
architecture at the university of lund, sweden. he has extensive experience as a
professional artist and academic, and has published widely on research theory in the
creative and performing arts.


Henk Borgdorff is professor of Research in the arts at the university of the arts,
The hague, The netherlands and Visiting professor in aesthetics at the university
of gothenburg, sweden. he is one of the founders of the society and Journal for
artistic Research and has published widely on the political and theoretical rationale
of research in the creative and performing arts.


Donna Lee Brien is associate professor, Creative industries and head of school
of Creative and performing arts at Central Queensland university, australia.
immediate past president of the australian association of Writing programs, her
current research interests include food writers and their influence, and teaching and
research in the creative arts.


Daniela Büchler is senior Research Fellow and project leader at the school of Creative
arts at the university of hertfordshire, uK; Visiting Research Fellow at mackenzie
university, Brazil; and guest scholar at lund university, sweden. she has degrees
and experience as practitioner and researcher in architecture, urban planning and
industrial design.


Linda Candy is an honorary Research Fellow at the university of Technology, sydney
and is a co-founder of the Creativity and Cognition conference series. she conducts
research into creativity using practice-based methodologies.


Halina Dunin-Woyseth is professor of architecture at the oslo school of architecture
and design, norway where she was the founding head of the institution’s doctoral
programme. she is also senior professor in Research design at sint-lucas school
of architecture in Brussels and ghent, Belgium. she has published extensively on
research related issues in architecture and design.


Catharina Dyrssen is professor of architecture at Chalmers university of Technology,
sweden where she specializes in architectural research methods connected to the
fine arts as well as urban design. she is an architect and musicologist, and conducts
art-based research on sound and urban space with the interdisciplinary group urban
sound institute.
