Hale Dwoskin, New York Times Best-Selling author of The Sedona

series) is the CEO and Director of Training of Sedona Training Associates,
an organization that teaches courses based on the emotional releasing
techniques originated by his mentor, Lester Levenson. Dwoskin is an
international speaker and featured faculty member at Esalen and the
Omega Institute. He is also one of the 24-featured teachers of the book
and movie phenomenon, “The Secret.” For thirty years, he has regularly
been teaching The Sedona Method techniques to individuals and
corporations throughout the United States, Canada and the United

Who do you think you are? What is your life’s purpose?


To me they’re two distinctly different things. Who I am is more of a
“what,” and my purpose in life is not necessarily related. So, I may be
different than most of the people that you are interviewing. Let me see
if I can explain. I’ll start with what my purpose is. My purpose in life is
to share happiness, peace and joy with the planet by sharing the technique
that I co-created called, The Sedona Method. So, that’s my purpose.
But what I am is the presence of awareness, that’s aware of this
conversation, yet completely uninvolved; that is the same energy or
awareness that is listening both through these ears and those ears; that’s
seeing both through these eyes and those eyes; that has no boundaries,
no location, that’s beyond space and time. And it’s not just who I am. In
my experience, that’s who everyone is. The sense of a separate individual
is made up. In fact, it doesn’t bear direct examination. If you, right
now, try to find the separate “you” that you believe you are, I challenge
you to find it. I’ve yet to speak to anyone who can actually find it. They
can remember it, because it just exists as a function of mind. It has
nothing to do with what’s here and now, and it has nothing to do with
