96 Who Do You Think You Are?

If you could give advice to people who are still searching for their
purpose in life, what would it be?

There’s a great quotation by Ralph Waldo Emerson. He said, “Find your
soul, and if it’s still alive, poke it with a stick, find out which way it
moves and then follow it.”
The idea is to tune in to yourself and find out what your passion
is. Make a commitment to follow your own passion. You’ll always be
making the best choices. The second part to that is to stay with it. To stay
with whatever it is you make a commitment to and find out which way it
goes, where it takes you.
Understanding your purpose and living a life of purpose is a
process of discovery. It’s not something that you sit down and write out
as an interesting pithy phrase. It’s really something that emerges. When
you start seeing your life as a co-creative emergent activity with a loving,
supportive universe that’s trying to express itself through you as you,
then you know that you have an immense power on your side to get you
where you want to go.
