After participating in this educational activity, the clinician should be able to:
- Discuss the differences between efficacy of available methods in perfect and actual use.
- Evaluate factors that women consider when choosing a particular method.
- Identify new options.
- Compare new and current options in terms of efficacy, side effects, convenience of use, and
patient adherence. - Review clinical trial data on the transdermal systems.
- Discuss issues important to successful patient management.
