app automatically
detects the

pointing at, and Google has improved

& Culture app has a new virtual 3D art
gallery, this time themedaround
colour. You can stroll aroundits four
rooms using your iOS or Android
smartphoneto see the exhibits, which
are grouped according to their palette.
The gallery usesaugmented reality to
display works taken from 33 partner
institutio ns across
four continents. To
view them, launch
the app, select
Pocket Gallery and
choose The Art
of Colour. Then
point your camera
at a flat surface,
move it in a circle
and see the art
spring to life.
