AN ERA WITHOUT COMPUTERS OR TELEVISION...

WHERE HORSES AND BUGGIES STILL OUTNUMBERED

CARS.

INSIDE THE METAL BOX... A GLIMPSE INTO THE

PAST... FROM OLD NEWSPAPERS TO THE NAMES OF

SCHOOLCHILDREN.

the ones you went to school with.. .which was a long, long

time ago...

THE BOX EVEN HELD A BALLOT FOR A THIRTY

THOUSAND DOLLAR SCHOOL BOND ISSUE... IT

PASSED BY ONE VOTE.

-<16:59-17:06>-if they hadn’t built the school i’d

been in a room with three grades in it.

-<SNDUP 2:51-3:00>-the school district is tearing down this

old building to make room for the new administrative offices.

it was here... under the old cornerstone, where they found

the time capsule.

cornerstone was put in... he explains why there is a time

capsule behind the cornerstone.

HAS A CHANCE TO LEARN FROM THE PAST. WITH

THE ITEMS IN THE TIME CAPSULE WILL BE PLACED

ON DISPLAY IN THE DISTRICT’S NEW MEDIA CENTER

ONCE THE BUILDING IS FINISHED.
