PSAs are prepared as campaigns appropriate for all media. The mes-
sage is reinforced in people’s minds if they see the message on tele-
vision, hear it on radio and read it in the paper within a short time
period. A public relations professional needs to know how to prepare
messages that all the media can use, as well as how to distribute them
to the media to get the best exposure. Figure 21.3 shows an example of
a PSA campaign for print, radio and television.
