As the game wore on it became more physical, and more difficult for the Jr. Brahmas to maintain any
sort of meaningful puck possession. Koegler was throwing his body around, Stephenson, Leath, and
Phillips were handing out bruises, and the Pain Train rolled to a 7-1 victory to cap the season. The Mavs
ended up in 3rd place for the tournament, finishing ahead of the Dallas Stars, the only team to hand the
Mavs a regulation loss all season.
