create a new layer above the half-
tone layer and fill the selection with
a color—we’re using gold/yellow.
Deselect your halftone pattern and
turn the original black-and-white
layer back on. Also, turn off (or
delete) the original black-and-white
halftone layer.
Step 20: Now we have a design
element based on the image. Turn
on the other two color layers. Use
Free Transform to scale the halftone
design element to fill in the composi-
tion a bit more and position it a little
to the right of the main subject.
