That’s pretty much all there is to it.

Remember what I’ve been saying

about trying various color scenarios

with other images. Here’s an example

of the same effect applied to a single-

subject image with a sports theme.

And here’s another version where

I used a multicolored gradient instead

of just converting the main image

to black and white in Step 12. I also

turned off the halftone pattern layer,

and set the color layers to the Nor-

mal blending mode. In the end, this

is quite a versatile design technique

and has myriad uses. n
