ton in the Options Bar to launch the Select
and Mask workspace. Press T to set the
View to On White, and set the Radius to
3 px. Grab the Refine Edge Brush tool (E),
and paint over the fringe portions of her
hair. Set the Output To drop-down menu
to Layer Mask, and click OK.
Step 16: The model already has a blue
and pink color cast, but to make her
blend even more with the background,
she should have some yellowish-orange
shining on her as well. Add a Hue/Satu-
ration adjustment layer, check the Col-
orize option in the Properties panel, and
set the Hue to 37 and Saturation to 76.
Then click on the layer mask thumbnail
in the Layers panel and press Command-I
(PC: Ctrl-I) to invert it to black to hide the
colorization effect. Use a soft brush again
set to white and about a 70% Opacity to
reapply the color effect on areas closest
to the yellow color of the background.
