Shortcut #13: To copy a layer mask to another layer, hold
down the Option (PC: Alt) key and drag the layer mask to
the desired layer.

Shortcut #14: To show and hide the Layers panel,
press F7.

Wishing you a workflow free of scattered, messy, nameless
layers and hoping these shortcuts help you turn your Layers
panel into a beautiful rainbow of color-coded, organized,
named, and grouped layers. n

Shortcut #10: To select the layer at the top of the layer
stack in the Layers panel, press Option-. (period; PC: Alt-.).


Shortcut #11: To select the layer at the bottom of the
layer stack in the Layers panel, press Option-, (comma;
PC: Alt-,).


Shortcut #12: To create a clipping mask, Option-click
(PC: Alt-click) on the line between the two layers you want
to clip together (the cursor will turn into a square with a
downward arrow).
