Step Four: Choose Filter>Render>
Clouds and Photo shop blends the two
colors in a splotchy, cloud-like fash-
ion. (Note: You don’t get a dialog with
this filter.) Press Command-F (PC: Ctrl-F)
twice more to rerun the filter and
introduce additional random cloud
patterns. (You can run it as many
times as you want.)
Step Five: To make the splotches
resemble streaks, choose Filter>Blur>
Motion Blur. In the dialog that opens,
set the angle to 90° and drag the
Distance slider to around 1250 pixels
for a high-resolution image, and click
OK. (Try 300 pixels for the roughly
1000-pixel-wide Adobe Stock pre-
view image.)
