WHILE ASTUTE RENOVATORS may prefer to

every last detail, fashion designer Britt Sisseck
was fortunate enough to find a ready-made
dream apartment that perfectly fit her interior
aesthetic, primedand readyforhertomove in
with her two youngest children. In fact, when
shefirstvisited thebuilding,she immediatelyfelt
at home. “I hadn’t been there long before
I knew,”she says.“Itwasloveatfirstsight,like
when you meet someone and immediately
connectwiththem.It feltlikea gift.”
Despite being situated in Copenhagen’s
fashionable Østerbro district, the busy Danish
capital feels light years away. Spacious and
light-filled, the home speaks to the designer’s
penchant for balance and harmony. “A home
mustbetheplacewhereyoufindpeace,where
youcan press pause and takerefuge from all
thedemanding,complexand confusing aspects
of life,” Sisseck explains.>

“A HOME
MUST be
WHERE YOU
can PRESS

TAKE REFUGE
