Where’s the hourglass? Well, this feat of design is all
about the negative space: it’s this framed void, moreso
than the bag itself, that resembles the hourglass curves
of the signature Balenciaga Basque waistcoat. The bag’s
sharp and elegant silhouette has been designed to
complement the hourglass form, worn on the hip,
with a cross-body strap or carried by the top handle.
