LIVING SPACE
The main living area overlooks the pool,
and the room’s combination of wooden
furniture, cement tiles and flooring that
combines both of these materials creates
a rustic aesthetic. A central rattan shade
echoes these natural textures. The
backless ‘sofa’ was custom made for the
room, and the delicate aqua tones reflect
the pool just outside. The space is dotted
with a mix of decorations and trinkets
found locally, with one wall given over
to a display of sculptures, framed
artworks and mirrors. A floor-to-ceiling
window looks out on to the tropical
greenery outside. The stairs leading
to the bedrooms continue the colour
scheme with pale blue and white
geometric tiles. ‘The tiles give colour
and incorporate our Mediterranean
style into the space,’ says Henri. Try
