ON SAFARI
Since my favourite French label Sézane opened
its store in Selfridges, it’s been bad news for my
bank balance. My recent visit resulted in an indigo
blue safari jacket; an elevated take on a denim
jacket. The 1970s silhouette, with extra-large square
pockets, looks great belted over a grey T-shirt and
white jeans, but will translate perfectly into winter,
too – just add a rollneck and flared cords.

LAYER UP
I’ve recently
discovered new
jewellery brand
Hermina Athens;
beautiful ancient
coins, zodiac
pendants and tarot
signs from Greece
adorned with
handmade tassels
and pompoms. I’ll
layer up strings of its
coloured beads along
with my faithful gold
pendants to create
a festival feel.
YELLOW
FEVER
My summer
wardrobe tends to
be a fresh, neutral
palette of white,
cream and blush
but, this summer,
I’m letting the
sunshine in with
a mellow yellow
midi dress. I’ll
add accessories
in cream and brown
to keep the look
smart and city
appropriate.

THE SOPHISTICATED
SWEATSHIRT
An oversized slogan sweatshirt is your
best friend this summer; ideal for chilly
aeroplanes, windy beaches and evenings
sitting under the stars. Go for vibrant
colours and wear with frayed-hem
jeans, white pumps and large shades.
