How to Conduct 3 Day, 7 Day & 10 Day Fasts .........................................


A fast of 3 days or longer should be conducted under
ideal, peaceful conditions. You should be able to rest
any time you feel the toxins passing out of your body.
During this time you might feel some discomfort. You
should rest and relax quietly until the poisons have
passed out of your body. It’s best to be quiet, at peace
and alone when possible. This brief period of discomfort
will end as soon as the loosened toxins have passed out
of your body through the kidneys, lungs, skin, etc.
During longer fasts do not tell others what you are
doing. Why? You must keep only positive thoughts of
cleansing and renewing miracles happening in your
body! Too often others ignorant about fasting will
criticize your fasting with negative comments.
Our fasting is such a very personal and quiet time that
many years ago Dad went into the Santa Monica
Mountains in California and bought a tract of land in
the wilderness of the Topanga Canyon near Malibu where
he built a retreat cabin, identical to Thoreau’s at Walden
Pond near Boston. In that natural seclusion Dad and I
enjoyed the quiet peace for our fasting time. If possible,
try to get away to a secluded place to fast in solitude
and Mother Nature’s fresh air, to enjoy better results!
