Open Settings

Go to Settings>Screen

Time and then tap on the

‘App Limits’ category. Now

tap ‘Add Limit’ to set a daily

time limit for a particular app.

Pick category

Select a category, in this

case ‘Social Networking’ then

tap ‘Next’. You will now be

able to set a time limit for how

long you use these apps.

Use Downtime

Alternatively, tap on

‘Downtime’ and then turn this

feature on to set parameters

of when you can and can’t

use your iPhone.

How can I edit exactly
which apps have access
to certain features on my
iPhone, such as my photo library

Go to Settings>Screen Time and
then tap on the ‘Content & Privacy
Restrictions’ option. You will now be
able to scroll down to the Privacy
section that lists all of the privacy-
related aspects of your iPhone. Tap
on a category, such as Photos and
then all of the apps that you have
previously granted access to will be
listed. Simply turn off the switch next
to an app you wish to restrict.

Although I have selected
specific sources in my News
app ‘Today’ view, stories
are still being displayed from other
sources. How can I stop this?

Go to Settings>News and you will
see an option called ‘Restrict Stories
in Today’. If you turn this option on
then only stories from channels that
you follow will be displayed in Today
and all other sources will be blocked.
This should instantly de-clog your
news feed and allow you to only
concentrate on the stories that matter.
