Ugly God

Although the young rapper and Internet
personality Ugly God – or Royce Rodriguez,
as his parents know him – has been an ever-
present on the rap scene since 2015, it is
only this year that he has finally dropped his
debut studio album, Bumps & Bruises. The
deluxe release features two bonus tracks.

FIVE FACTS:

1. Ugly God’s best-known song is 2016’s
   “Water”, which hit number 80 on the
   Billboard Hot 100 chart.


2. Rodriguez started rapping during his
   time studying computer engineering at the
   University of Southern Mississippi.


3. “It actually feels amazing to actually drop
   a body of music that, you know, I worked
   and put my all into,” Ugly God has said about
   Bumps & Bruises.


4. The two bonus tracks on the deluxe
   album are “Hello” and “Lost in the Sauce”,
   which have both been released as singles.


5. “Hello” features fellow rapper Gazzy Garcia
