Pro with improved Face ID and a rear-facing
time-of-flight (ToF) camera system that could
allow for 3D models to be captured using
the iPad Pro and then edited with the Apple
Pencil. Apple is also working on a 3D AR camera
system that could debut in the 2020 iPad Pro,
and the firm is in talks with Samsung for OLED
displays for future iPad Pro models to offer
increased brightness, deeper blacks, better
contrast, and faster response times. And that’s
without mentioning rumors of a foldable iPad
that could be ready as soon as next year, and
a 5G iPad in the first quarter of 2021 offering
on the go productivity for today’s power
users. In short, there’s never been a better
time for the iPad; the current lineup is the most
advanced and affordable to date, and future
software and hardware innovations will only
take that experience even further - here’s hoping
they come sooner rather than later.
