stretched cluster scenario? The solution is to combine Storage Spaces Direct and
Storage Replica while utilizing new site-awareness available in the Windows Server
2016 cluster. This is shown in Figure 4.12: The cluster is divided into two sites, and in
each site a site-scoped pool is created via Storage Spaces Direct; a virtual disk is
created, and that virtual disk is then replicated using Storage Replica to a virtual disk
created on a storage pool on the other side.
