SMT instances are added via the Azure Marketplace by searching for Server Manager
Tools. Once an instance is created, you will be guided through the deployment of a
gateway that involves installing the generated package to an on-premises Windows
Server running Windows Server 2012 R2 (with WMF 5) or above. The complete

management-tools-using-windows-server-2016, but the Azure portal guides you
through each step that is required, as shown in Figure 5.7.
