resources are required because the business units can now provision resources more
easily, the IT department has the ability to gain the funding to procure more IT
infrastructure as needed.
You can start slow. Maybe you use the private cloud for development and test
environments first, get used to the idea, and get the users used to working within
quotas. The private cloud infrastructure can be used in production, but perhaps it’s the
IT department using the private cloud and maybe even the self-service portal initially,
and then over time you turn it over to end users.
