➣Smoking (present in >90% of patients)
➣Hypertension
➣Hyperlipidemia
➣Hypercoaguable state (suspect in patients<50 years of age)
➣Diabetes
■Most have symptoms of atherosclerosis in another vascular bed
(coronary, cerebrovascular, etc.)
