Alternative: Sumo Squat



  • Start with feet wider than shoulder width apart and toes pointed slightly outward

  • While holding weight between your legs maintain a neutral spine without letting your
    knees cave in or your back round forward.

  • Flexibility in these muscles is most important, do not do strengthening exercises if there
    is tightness or dysfunction.
