INTRODUCING THE MAC STUDIO AND
STUDIO DISPLAY

Whilst the 24-inch iMac might offer enough
power and performance for everyday tasks,
the new Mac Studio turns things up a notch.
The Mac Studio features the M1 Max and
M1 Ultra chips, offering an “unprecedented
amount of power and capability in a form factor
that can live right on a desk”. The machine is
manufactured from a single piece of aluminum
and sits perfectly under most displays -
including the new Studio Display. Thanks to a
unique system of double-sided blowers, the Mac
Studio remains both cool and incredibly quiet,
even under the heaviest workloads. The M1 Max,
first introduced on the MacBook Pro, offers up
to 2.5 faster CPU performance than the fastest
27-inch iMac with a 10-core processor, and up
to 50 percent faster CPU performance than Mac
Pro with a 16-core Xeon processor. The new M1
Ultra, developed exclusively for the new Mac
Studio, on the other hand, offers 3.8x faster CPU
performance than the fastest 27-inch iMac with
a 10-core processor, and up to 90 percent faster
CPU performance than Mac Pro with 16-core
Xeon processor. All in all, this results in blazing-
fast performance for even the most demanding
of video editing tasks.

The new Studio Display, on the other hand,
serves as an alternative to the $5,000 Pro Display
XDR, and finally gives users an alternative to
third-party screens. It sports a 27-inch 5K Retina
screen, as well as camera and audio, which offers
the integrated experience Mac users love. A
built-in stand offers the user to tilt the display up
to 30 degrees, whilst tilt- and height-adjustable
stand options are also offered for an additional
