After being selected with the fifth pick
of the 202 1 NFL draft, Chase was named
Offensive Rookie of the Year. He reunited
with Cincinnati quarterback Joe Burrow,
his teammate at LSU, to catch 81 passes
for 1,455 yards and 13 touchdowns as
the Bengals advanced to Super Bowl LVI.
At LSU, Chase had 84 catches for
1,78 0 yards as a sophomore in ’19
before sitting out the ’ 20 season to
concentrate on his pro career.
