Method
PASIFIKA PLATE
Seep can of corned beef in hot water to melt the fat.
Leave it to the side
Cut the stem from each taro leaf then wash and place
to the side
In a medium sized mixing bowl, add diced onion, lite
coconut cream and salt to season
Open the can of corned beef and drain the fat (juice)
into a cup. Put the corned beef in a separate bowl
Place 2-3 taro leaves onto foil and add corned beef
mixture into the centre of the taro leaves
Add a ladle of lite coconut cream onto the corned beef
and fold taro leaves in, then wrap the foil to secure it
closed
Repeat steps 5-6 until all taro leaves are used
Prepare steamer and place each parcel inside. Allow to
steam for 2 hrs
