As our board has no supported RGB,

we thought we’d add a bit of color to

the mix with these Corsair Vengeance

RGB sticks. 16GB is more than enough

RAM for our spec and the design fits in

nicely with the motherboard.

It would have been nice to get our

hands on some faster 3600 MHz sticks

and a set of four to fill out the mobo,

but this will be capable of getting

some solid processing performance

Unlike the more expensive Pro variant, this

SSD doesn’t have PCIe 4.0 support and sticks

to PCIe 3.0. However, with a 1TB capacity, it’s

still a fine addition to our system. We could

have chosen the 970 Evo but our model has

faster read and write speeds. samsung.com

CASE

CORSAIR 275R

Housing all of our glorious
components is this tasty-looking
case from Corsair. The 275 Airflow
is a great sub-$100 dollar case that
has some bold styling cues.
We have to mention the front
panel of this case first, that
patterned grill gives us 1990s
soccer kit vibes and personally, we
are huge fans. The criss-cross grill
should allow the case to have good
ventilation whilst also making it
stand out from the crowd.
Talking of standing, it is also
raised higher off the ground than
most cases, thanks to its tall
chrome feet. Unfortunately, there
is no USB-C, so we will have to rely
on the motherboard to provide this.
