This version of Luminar seems to
have removed the useful ‘before and
after’ view that allowed you to split an
image with a movable boundary. Not
only was it perfect for seeing precisely
what had changed in your image, but
for journalists preparing tutorials

it allowed an effect to be shown in a
single screenshot. So the pictures in
this boxout are the original ones we
used for two of the Luminar effects
on these pages, for comparison with
the finished articles above. We hope
the split view returns for the full retail

version, as it was one of the things that
set Luminar apart from its competition.
However, the ability to flip back to the
original image by holding down the eye
icon at the bottom of the interface or on
the Tools panels and use the arrow icon
to undo all your work, remains.
