This mini keyboard connects to your iPad to
help you learn to play piano in an easy, game–like
fashion. In fact, anyone who played Guitar Hero
especially will get a sense of déjà vu here. The keys
light up in a rainbow of colors, which match colors
(and positions) of icons on–screen, so you learn to
play songs just by hitting the color you’re seeing at
the right time. There are also options to view more
traditional music notation, still with handy color
coding to help you remember which note is which
before you’re a pro. And when you are, you can
combine more Rolis into one giant piano!

iRobot Roomba S9+ & Braava jet m

From $1,299 (S9+); from $499 (jet m6)

>>> This dynamic duo of robotic cleaners are made
to eliminate the rogues’ gallery of crap you find on
your floors. The Roomba S9+ robo vac (near left)
uses its advanced navigation and serious suction to
clean up, and empties its own dirt bin into a bigger
dirt bin built into its charging base, so you only need
to empty it once a month or so. Then, using iRobot’s
“Imprint Link Technology”, it talks to the jet m
robo mop to tell it the floor’s clean of bits, and the
mop heads out to give it the next level of clean.
You’ll have spotless floors without moving a muscle.

Panasonic Lumix S1H

Around $4,000 (body only)

For video pros, the hot thing right now is 6K.
Most films are recorded in it before being converted
to 4K, for flexibility, and Apple is supporting this
with its 6K Pro Display XDR. Now Panasonic is
bringing 6K recording to even more people, with
this video–focused camera. Not only can it record in
4K, it’s also the first full–frame camera to record 4K
60fps in 10–bit color, giving filmmakers a lot of extra
flexibility. And that huge sensor will take gorgeous
still photos too, when it arrives this fall.
