“The image was taken at

Blakeney on the north Norfolk

coast, just after the sun had

set. This is an image that I

have wanted to capture for

some time – the sailing barge

‘Juno’ at its winter berth before

it moves on to its summer

charter mooring. I also wanted

to capture it on a high spring

tide so that all the mooring was

covered and the full reflections

could be captured. The splash

of colour on the horizon after

the sun had dipped just added

to the final image.”
