GETTING STARTED
Wunderlist is available on a variety of platforms; there is
a web-based version (www.wunderlist.com), or you can
download the app, which can be found in the Microsoft Store.
>> To install Wunderlist, open the Microsoft Store, then type in
“Wunderlist” and select “Get.” Click “Launch”—on the first run,
you need to sign in or create an account. If you don’t want to use
your Microsoft account, you can sign in via Gmail. Alternatively,
access the web-based version of Wunderlist at (www.wunderlist.
com). This guide focuses on the desktop application.

YOUR FIRST TO-DO LIST
Wunderlist displays your To-Do Inbox on the right. Tap
“Add a To-Do” and input the name of the list you’d like to
create. Once you’ve completed the details, press Enter to confirm.
The item appears in your Inbox in the “To-Do” section. To rename
an item, click it. A pop-up box appears. Click to highlight an item
name to edit it. Press Enter to save changes.
>> To mark a task as complete, click the checkbox beside it. The
task is moved to “Completed To-Dos.” Uncheck a completed task
to restore it. To delete a task, right-click, and choose “Delete.”

SET DUE DATES AND REMINDERS
Wunderlist supports both single and recurring reminders.

you’ll see that you can access Wunderlist via the dedicated desktop app or the website, so your
to-do items are safely synched to the cloud. You can also have Wunderlist prompt you via push
notification and/or email about important things you need to do.
If you’re planning a major project, Wunderlist also supports dividing activities into subtasks
and annotating them with your own notes. You can create as many lists as you want and even
share them with friends and family for comments and completion.
There’s a basic free version of Wunderlist, but for $4.99 a month, you can upgrade to Pro.
This enables you to assign an unlimited number of tasks to others, as well as create an infinite
number of subtasks. This may useful if you’re planning a large undertaking, such as charity
work or running a small business. Larger organizations can also benefit from Wunderlist—for
$4.99 a month per user, the Business version supports all the Pro features, plus centralized

on a task, then scroll to “Due Today” or “Due Tomorrow.”
To set a different time, click a to-do item, then in the
pop-up box that appears, select “Set Date & Reminder”

reminder’s new due date. From here, you can choose
“Never repeat,” “Repeat every day,” “Repeat every
week,” “Repeat every month,” or “Repeat every year.”
>> To change notification settings, click your name
on the left-hand side of the app, then click “Settings.”
Scroll to “Notifications.” By default, both email and
push notifications are enabled. Toggle the button next to
each notification type to enable or disable.

SUBTASKS AND NOTES
Wunderlist enables you to add subtasks to each
task you create. You can also add explanatory
notes if you wish.
>> Click the “To-do” list you want to edit. In the pop-
up box, select “Add a Subtask.” Type in the extra to-do
item, then press Enter to create your subtask. You can
add as many subtasks as you wish. Click the “x” beside a
subtask to delete it.
>> To add a note to your task, click “Add Note” below
the “Subtask” field. Write the note, then press Enter
once you are done. This note is now added to your
