SMART LISTS
Smart Lists are a type of filter view, which group certain
tasks together based on specific criteria. For example, all
“Starred” to-do lists are grouped together, as are any tasks that
have been assigned to you personally. Smart Lists appear at the
top of the left-hand pane.
>> To set up Smart Lists, go to your settings. From here, you
can choose from “Auto,” “Visible,” and “Hidden.” “Auto” Smart
Lists only appear if relevant. “Visible” smart lists always appear
in the left-hand pane.
>> You can choose which lists are displayed. By default, most
options are set to “Auto.” The “All” section and “Week & Today
Settings” are set to “Hidden” and “Show All To-Dos” respectively.
You can switch between “Auto,” “Visible,” and “Hidden” for each
option via the drop-down menu.

SHARING
You can add lists by clicking “Create List” at the bottom-
left. These lists can be shared with friends, colleagues,
and family members. To do this, select the list on the right-hand
side. Choose the “Share” button. Enter your recipient’s name or
email address in the pop-up box, then click “Save” [Image B]. An
invite to view the list is then sent. While your recipient can see
to-do items, they need a Wunderlist account to be able to edit
them or mark them as complete.

Google Chrome users can install the
Wunderlist extension. This enables
you to quickly bookmark items and
save links to your Wunderlist account
from sites such as Amazon, Gmail, and
Outlook.com.
To add the extension, go to https://
chrome.google.com/webstore and click
“Add to Chrome.” Once installed, the
Wunderlist icon appears to the right of
your address bar. Click this, then log in
to your Wunderlist account. Once this
is done, click the Wunderlist extension
icon again to automatically create a
new to-do item from the current URL.
Use the drop-down menu to choose
which list you want to add the item

to. Alternatively, choose “Create New
List” to begin a new list—“Christmas
Shopping,” for example. The URL itself
is stored in the “Notes” section for

each task. Click the link to launch it in
your browser. At the time of writing,
there were no extensions available for
