Will captures a myriad of impressive
scene s on his Sc andinavian sojourn
o way. It’s too far,
too expensive and
too cold. This was
my initial reaction
when my wife and
I were exploring our next
photographic holiday.
However, with its spectacular
scenery, waterside towns,
ever-changing skies and pure
light, Norway certainly ticked
all the boxes. Choosing the
optimal time for daylight andGDUNQHVVIRXQGXVÁ\LQJWR
Bergen in late March. It was
bitterly cold. Under brilliant
blue skies, we boarded a
Hurtigruten express ship and
were sailed up the coast
towards the Arctic Circle,
reaching the most northern
town of the cruise, Kirkenes.
I knew that I would be
overwhelmed by photo
opportunities, but I was
